Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required
• Valid state teaching credential, substitute permit, or emergency credential
• Demonstrated classroom management skills and teaching experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Flexibility to work in various grade levels and subject areas
• Reliable transportation to different school locations
• Must pass background check, fingerprinting, and TB test
• Availability to accept assignments (day-of, short-notice, or pre-scheduled)

• Full teaching credential in specific subject area or grade level
• Experience in multiple educational settings (public, private, charter)
• Specialized training (special education, ESL, STEM, etc.)
• Bilingual capabilities
• Long-term substitute experience

Assignment Types

• Day-to-Day: Fill in for single-day absences across different schools
• Short-Term: 2-5 days covering planned teacher absences or training
• Long-Term: Extended assignments (2+ weeks) for medical leave, maternity leave, etc.
• Preferred Sub: Build relationships with schools and become their go-to substitute
